C4C Parent-child Fun

Developed by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the multifunctional app comes in different themes that enhance the reading and listening skills of the NCS students. While each theme has four different sessions, it offers different video tutorials and educational games that consolidate their knowledge and utilise self-directed learning process in an innovative way. Students can play the app on their own or with their family anytime and anywhere. Also, a performance report will be provided after each session, so parents can track their children’s performances, and adjust learning plans accordingly.


The C-for-Chinese learning app is aimed at providing a pleasurable and flexible platform for non-Chinese speaking (NCS) kindergarten students and their parents to review and consolidate what they have learnt in school. Not only can students learn while playing through games with different themes, but also enhance their interest in learning Chinese. Furthermore, it brings the child and the parent closer by providing a great opportunity to improve their Chinese proficiencies together.
